Purchase deeds - Condominium Statement
Law 8/2022, in force from 10th of April 2022 on, introduces the following change:
Purchase deeds will no longer be granted without joining to the same a declaration (statement of charges and debts) issued by the condominium.
The purchaser may declare he waives the right to this declaration but, in such case, he will be responsible for the payment of any existing condominium debts.
The declaration will have:
The amount of all outstanding condominium charges, specifying their nature, amounts and payment deadlines; and
Indication of any existing debts, their nature, amounts, constitution dates and due dates.
The charges will be borne by the owner at the time of the condominium resolution in question.
